SUMMARY CLIENT SERVICE AGREEMENT
Beyond Your Boundaries
ABN: 81 238 054 831
By engaging with the services provided by Beyond Your Boundaries, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by the following Client Service Agreement and Terms and Conditions. This Agreement is governed by the laws of South Australia and applicable Commonwealth legislation of Australia.
In this Agreement, “Practitioner” refers to Melanie, operating as Beyond Your Boundaries (ABN: 81 238 054 831), including any authorised representative acting on behalf of the business. “Client” and “you” refer to the individual receiving services. “Services” refers to all integrative therapeutic services offered, including but not limited to kinesiology, bodywork, massage therapy, acupressure techniques, muscle monitoring, and related mind-body modalities.
Beyond Your Boundaries provides integrative services that are complementary in nature and intended to support general wellbeing across physical, emotional, mental, and energetic domains. These services may include kinesiology, bodywork, massage therapy, and coaching-based personal development sessions. Kinesiology and bodywork may involve manual therapies such as massage, acupressure-based techniques, and muscle monitoring, which is used only where appropriate to support the therapeutic process. Coaching-based services, including “Breaking Limiting Beliefs,” are provided for educational and personal development purposes only and do not involve physical assessment, muscle monitoring, or any form of diagnosis.
You acknowledge that the Practitioner is not a medical doctor, psychologist, psychiatrist, or registered mental health clinician, and that all services are complementary and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical or psychological condition. These services do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment under Australian law, and you are encouraged to seek appropriate advice from a qualified medical or allied health professional where required. No guarantees are made regarding outcomes, as individual responses to integrative therapies vary.
By engaging in services, you provide informed consent to receive integrative therapies, including hands-on treatment where applicable. You acknowledge that you are comfortable with physical contact as required for massage, bodywork, and assessment techniques, and agree to inform the Practitioner of any areas you do not wish to be treated. You confirm that you have disclosed all relevant health conditions, injuries, medications, and limitations, and agree to update the Practitioner of any changes prior to each session. You understand that consent is ongoing and may be withdrawn or modified at any time, and that you are responsible for communicating any discomfort or concerns during treatment.
You acknowledge that sessions may involve the exploration of physical, emotional, and psychological material, and you accept responsibility for your own wellbeing during and after sessions. You consent to non-invasive assessments where appropriate, including postural assessment and Traditional Chinese Medicine-based observations. Where agreed, clinical photographs may be taken for assessment purposes and will be stored securely, used only for clinical records, and not shared without your written consent unless required by law. Inappropriate behaviour will result in immediate termination of the session, with full payment remaining payable. Any insights provided during sessions are for educational and wellbeing purposes only and are not medical advice.
You agree to provide accurate and complete health information. Where you have undergone recent injury, surgery, or medical procedures within the previous six months, you may be required to obtain written clearance from a qualified medical or allied health professional. The Practitioner reserves the right to decline or postpone treatment where necessary for safety.
For clients under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian must be present or available, and consent must be provided. The parent or guardian accepts all terms of this Agreement on behalf of the minor and acknowledges that confidentiality may be limited in accordance with child safety laws.
Personal and health information is collected only as necessary to provide safe and effective services and is managed in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and Australian Privacy Principles. All information is treated as confidential and stored securely. Disclosure may occur where required by law or with your consent. Records are retained for a minimum of seven years and may then be securely destroyed or de-identified. Where there are reasonable grounds to suspect risk of harm, particularly involving a child or young person, the Practitioner may disclose relevant information to appropriate authorities as required by law.
Appointments are reserved exclusively for you and are allocated for a specific time. A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations may incur a 50% fee, and failure to attend may result in the full fee being charged. Late arrivals may result in shortened sessions. If you choose to end a session early, the full fee remains payable. Repeated cancellations or non-attendance may result in refusal of future bookings.
Payment is due in full at the conclusion of each session unless otherwise agreed. Accepted payment methods include EFTPOS, PayID, and cash. For online sessions, payment is required within 24 hours of invoicing. Fees are based on reserved appointment time, not duration of attendance.
Where prepaid packages or bundled sessions are offered, full payment is required prior to the first session. These packages are valid for three months from the date of purchase and must be used within this period. Unused sessions may be forfeited. Packages are non-refundable and non-transferable except where required by law, and must be used by the original purchaser. All package sessions remain subject to standard appointment and cancellation policies.
A loyalty program may be offered, providing incentives such as a discounted session after a specified number of appointments. Where applicable, a 25% discount may be applied to the fifth session, provided all prior sessions have been attended and paid in full. Loyalty rewards do not expire but are non-transferable, cannot be redeemed for cash, and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or package. Only one discount or promotional benefit may be applied per session. Lost loyalty cards may not be replaced. The Practitioner reserves the right to modify or discontinue the program at any time, with earned rewards honoured.
Refunds are not provided for services delivered with due care and skill in accordance with Australian Consumer Law. This includes cancellations, non-attendance, or early termination of sessions. Nothing in this Agreement limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
Gift vouchers are valid for a minimum of three years and are non-refundable and not redeemable for cash. They may be used as credit toward services at current pricing and must be redeemed before expiry.
Products sold are provided with relevant information, and you are responsible for ensuring suitability. Remedies are available under Australian Consumer Law for faulty or misrepresented products. No refunds are provided for change of mind.
Feedback and testimonials may be used for promotional purposes in a de-identified manner. If you do not wish for your feedback to be used, you must notify the Practitioner in writing. Identifiable information will not be published without explicit consent.
Where media content such as photos or videos is captured, written consent will be obtained prior to use. Participation is voluntary, and consent may be withdrawn at any time. The Practitioner will take reasonable steps to remove content upon request, however complete removal cannot be guaranteed where content has been shared externally. Clients are not permitted to record sessions without prior consent.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Practitioner disclaims liability for any injury, loss, or damage arising from services provided, except where liability cannot be excluded. You acknowledge that participation in services carries inherent risks.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of South Australia, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of its courts. This document constitutes the entire agreement between you and the Practitioner and supersedes all prior communications.
This document is a plain-language summary of the Full Client Service Agreement. In the event of any inconsistency, the Full Client Service Agreement prevails.
The Full Client Service Agreement is available at the time of booking under the Terms & Conditions section and must be read and accepted prior to confirming your appointment. A copy may also be provided via email upon request.
By proceeding with a booking, you confirm that you have had reasonable opportunity to read and understand the Full Client Service Agreement.
